Grand Final

Players are sent invitations to play in the UK kids Golf Grand Final.

In 2012 the Grand Final takes place on Saturday 22 September. The format is strokeplay. The 12 & 13 age group play 18 holes and all other age groups play 9 holes.

Grand Final courses 12 to 13 age group (yellow tees):
The first 9 holes will be played on the Grand Prix course and the 2nd 9 holes on the1905 course. Both featuring gently undulating grassland adjacent to the world famous Silverstone Motor Racing Circuit, with interesting lake features and wildlife sanctuaries providing many testing holes.

Grand Final course 6 to 7 (red tees), 8 to 9 and 10 to 11 age groups (yellow tees):
The Wedgewood course has both testing par 3's and par 4's of a high standard of design and construction offering an interesting challenge to players.

Other activities at the Grand Final include the John Letters chipping competition, putting competition and the UK launch of Golf Integrated where you will be able to try Sam PuttLab, Flight Scope and other golf development activities in the Integrated Golf marque.

The competition entry fee includes a choice of food for all the players.  A choice of food will also be available for all non players to purchase including breakfast.

All players will receive a Grand Finalist certificate. The top three finishers in each boy and girl age group will each receive trophies and an invitation to enter the 2013 US Kids European Championships and 2013 US Kids Golf World Championships. 

Registration, scoring, prize giving and ordering of food will all take place in the Pavillion which opens at 8.30am. Car parking specifically for the Grand Final will be clearly signposted.
