Players are sent invitations to play in the Grand Final. For direct entry please email HERE. Please note it is first come first served and dependent upon playing experience.
The 2019 Grand Final takes place on Wednesday 28th August held at the superb St Ives Golf Club in Cambridgeshire.
Format
******NEW FOR 2019****** we are introducing to the UK an exciting new competition format - ALL competitors will play 9 holes on the course (all 6 to 13 age groups competitions are strokeplay gross score with no handicaps and the 14 to 16 age group Masters competition is also strokeplay gross score but includes a handicap competition) and in addition will compete in their age groups in a Drive, Chip and Putt competition held on the range and short game area. More information on the new Drive, Chip and Putt HERE
The Grand Final first three places in each age group will be determined by the combination of points earned from both the 9 holes and Drive, Chip and Putt challenges with a maximum of 225 points available i.e. maximum of 75 points per element. The points for Drive, Chip and Putt can be found HERE.
The points scoring for the 9 holes in each age group are as follows:
1st place 75 points
2nd place 50 points
3rd place 25 points
4th place and beyond 10 points.
For example, Player A competing in the Boys 10-11 age group finishes 2nd in the 9 hole competition gaining 50 points, scores 40 points in the Drive challenge, 60 points in the Chip challenge and 35 points in the Putt challenge so his total Grand Final score for his age group would be 185 points.
